Everyone is familiar with this: day by day the same way to school and back; wherever you look the drag of everyday life greets you.

Time for a holiday! But soon you realise that the package tour to Spain from the travel agency around the corner is not the real thing. Who wants to travel alone?

How about a youth exchange organised by Lambda? Going off into the big world together with other young people, who had exactly the same idea like you: daily routine out! Leisure time in.

At all exchanges you are accompanied by experienced guides, who have prepared themselves well to make the trip an unforgettable experience for everybody.

Of course many things are waiting for you: A good mixture between travel activities, encounters with other LGBT people of the particular country and open recreational activity are always part of the trip and of course you have a say in what should happen at the holiday destination.

And who knows, maybe the holiday flirt becomes the one big love. Either way, going on holiday with Lambda is something you don’t want to miss. We’re offering everything at a fair price because we want you to have some money left for souvenirs etc.

Our summer camp is coming up – are you coming too???

You’ll be spending an unforgettable week at the International Summer Camp from 17^th – 25^th July 2010 in the Thuringian town of Lützensömmern. During this time you’ll be spending unforgettable days together with many other young LGBT people from Europe; you can participate in a variety of workshops and leisure activities, meet new people at the campsite, chill in the youth club or at the bonfire and simply enjoy the sun.

The whole trip will cost you only €189 including campsite, work shops and three meals a day.

San Francisco from 10 to 19 September 2010 for €599

It’s time again – we are going to San Francisco!

Whoever hasn’t soaked up enough of the Lambda-feeling or simply hasn’t had the chance to, just get on the plane with us to San Francisco. California is sunny and warm even in September; you can lie on the beach and feel like an extra on Baywatch.

San Francisco is one of the most beautiful cities on the American West Coast and since there are so many things to see, we could easily spend three months there. The must-sees are: Golden Gate Bridge, The Rock/Alcatraz, Cable Cars, Chinatown and Fisherman’s Warf.

The gay and lesbian blood will also be stirred; besides going to clubs and cafés in the infamous Castro District we will meet up with young lesbians and gays from the area. They know best, where to go.

And who knows which new friendships will grow.

All in all, there are 13 places available. The price of €599 includes airfare (probably from Frankfurt), hostel accommodation, breakfast and care by people from the Youth Network Lambda.
